Every person in a Hivra workspace is assigned one of three roles: Owner, Admin, or Member. Roles control what actions each person can take within the workspace, from connecting social accounts to approving posts for publication. The Business plan is required for multi-seat team access; the Creator plan includes 1 workspace and 1 seat for solo use.

Owner

The Owner is the person who created the workspace (or had ownership transferred to them). Every workspace has exactly one Owner. The Owner has unrestricted access to everything in the workspace — connecting and disconnecting social accounts, managing team members, controlling billing, publishing content without any approval gate, and viewing all analytics. Billing is tied to the Owner. Seat counts are aggregated across all workspaces owned by the same billing owner.

Admin

Admins have a configurable permission set that the Owner defines when inviting them or editing their profile. An Admin can be granted any combination of the following abilities:
  • Manage social account connections (Integrations)
  • Invite and remove Members
  • Access and manage the plan and billing settings
  • Access comment management (Engagement inbox)
  • Access Analytics
Admins can always publish and schedule content without an approval requirement, and can approve or reject posts submitted by Members who require approval.
Admin permissions are set individually per member. Two Admins in the same workspace can have different permission sets depending on what the Owner configured for each.

Member

Members have a limited default permission set. They cannot manage Integrations. The Owner or an Admin with the appropriate permission can optionally grant a Member access to:
  • Comment management (Engagement inbox)
  • Analytics
On the Business plan, Members can be set to require publishing approval before their posts go live. When approval is required, a Member submits a post and an Owner or eligible Admin reviews it before it publishes. See Invite members for how to configure this when adding someone to the workspace.

Seats

A seat is a billing slot for one distinct person on your team. Seat counts are shared across all workspaces tied to the same billing owner:
  • Free plan: 1 seat (solo use only)
  • Creator plan: 1 seat
  • Business plan: 5 seats included
If you need more people than your plan includes, you can purchase extra seats as add-ons. See Plans and pricing for add-on pricing.
One person using the same Hivra account across multiple workspaces owned by the same billing owner counts as a single seat — not one seat per workspace.
